Lonely Jack Turtles...

Hello my fellow turtles...

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful fall day with the leaves changing and the crisp cool air. It was a great 3.8 miles this morning with a small but mighty showing of Derek, Jeff and I. Concetta called to let me know that she'd be out of town for a wedding but where are my other turtles? Sleeping in can still occur with our new fall time of 9am! So, come on...set a new goal, come out and see us! Remember, next week is breakfast at Scramblers @ 10:15am. Can anyone join us? I already know that Jeff and Christine will be out of town but I hope everyone else can join us!

Any words of wisdom to share? You can post your own comments by becoming a member of blogger.com. It only takes 2 minutes and it will allow you to share comments and receive an email notification when new jack turtle posts are made. I expect EVERY TRUE Jack Turtle member to be registered by next Sunday!!! As your coach, I am here to support you and provide FREE technology assistance (aka...D-Cup) if necessary.

Have a great week everyone! Now... GO GET REGISTERED! :)

  1. Mona - great work on keeping the website current! I made it out yesterday for a 5 mile walk (have a pretty serious head cold) in the brisk mountain air - lots of sunshine, though! I can tell you that Meg, Kristen and Steve were out of town this past weekend. I cannot vouch for where they will be this upcoming weekend. I am contemplating signing up for another half in Phoenix in January - any takers??? Nice long sunny weekend get-a-way in the middle of grey, Ohio winter? http://www.rnraz.com/home.html

  3. After this past weekend, we may have a new contender for the "lightning" nickname. Derek, you really cruised around that loop my man! Way to go! Bill, Steve (and Doug too, if you are still out there)...the gauntlet has been thrown down.

  5. I was at the National Rehabilitation Association conference in St. Louis this past Sunday. I do plan to make a triumphant return this Sunday at 9AMish. Perhaps I will follow the model of Jeff and bring my weights, but for now it will be enough if I can get around the loop once without dying. Make it a great week! Meg

  6. Again, I am playing the lame card, but trust me - showing up way too early to mass several years in a row...I am highly attuned to the time changes :). Remember to turn your clocks back and enjoy an extra hour of sleep on Sunday! I imagine we'll all be chock full of energy and rarin' to go with that extra hour - Wahoo!
