CONGRATS to TWO (Bill and Derek) of the five turtles (Concetta, Eunice and I) who captured a pie from a running crowd of thousands on Thanksgiving day. Literally, there were thousands of runners and walkers who participated in the Turtle Trot this year. It seems like the race just keeps getting larger and more competitive every year. I guess everyone had the same great idea that we did...run a few miles before the big feast. Although, it was a bit cold, the lack of wind and bright sun made the race much more enjoyable than previous years. I even ran the majority of the race finishing in 58 minutes... that is less than a 12 minute mile. YEAH for me. CONGRATS to all of us. We rock it!
