Winter Solstice 2008

This past Sunday saw the start of Christmas Week and bitterly cold temperatures sweeping over Sharon Woods. While all the children were still nestled in their beds, with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads, intrepid Jack Turtles Jeff "Polar Bear" Robek and Bill "Bad Santa" Plessinger were out in the wintery weather, battling the cold! Temperatures that dipped as low as 15 degrees when the wind picked up didn't stop them from completing the 3.8 loop. Only four other runners and walkers were seen out on the trail, with nary a dog, cat, or squirrel making an appearance.
